About NTU QFASC

The NTU Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science Club (QFASC) primarily serves the actuarial science community in Nanyang Technological University, although most of the events organised by the QFASC are open to students from all disciplines. 

The key events of the club are the

• Actuarial Science Case Challenge, which was first launched in March 2012. This yearly competition aims to raise awareness of actuarial science to all undergraduate students from the main local universities in Singapore.

• Actuarial Science Networking Night, which gives undergraduate students an opportunity to interact with actuarial professionals and learn more about the potential career choices in the actuarial industry. This event is open to all students regardless of discipline from the major universities in Singapore.

• Organising of information talks, where distinguished speakers from the actuarial industry are invited to share their experiences and provide students insight to various career opportunities.
