NTU : Dr Boo Hian Yong, El'fred, Associate Professor

 

​El’fred is an Associate Professor at the Nanyang Business School in Nanyang Technological University. He holds a PhD degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (Singapore) and Chartered Accountant (Australia). He is also a member of the American Accounting Association and the Singapore Institute of Directors.

​

Prior to joining the academia, El’fred was an auditor with one of the Big Four international accounting firms in Singapore and Australia. He has taught Auditing and Assurance at the undergraduate and the MBA levels. El’fred currently teaches the Risk Management, Control and Ethics course and he has been a winner of the Teaching Excellence Award in the Accounting Division.

SMU: Dr Shirley Huang, Assistant Professor of Quantitative Finance (Education)

 

Shirley is an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Finance at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business in Singapore Management University. She holds a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Auckland and is a member of PRMIA. She has published papers in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management areas.  Shirley currently teaches Risk Management and Numerical methods in SMU.
